Just to contribute my 2 cents' worth that (assuming you were testing your "push" mail feature on the iPhone while connected to your home WiFi using private IP addresses) the iPhone requires an externally routable IP, not a private IP. Just to contribute my 2 cents’ worth that (assuming you were testing your “push” mail feature on the iPhone while connected to your home WiFi using private IP addresses) the iPhone requires an externally routable IP, not a private IP.
